David Jodoin

David Jodoin became interested in theatre at the turn of the 90’s. He came to the theatre through acting and quickly became interested in technical direction. He studied at UQAM for a bachelor’s degree in scenography and became technical director of the Salle Pauline-Julien (400 seats) before completing his training. Afterwards, in Saint-Hyacinthe, he supervised the construction site of a theatre, Le centre des arts Juliette Lassonde, and then took over the technical management of two new theatres. He also spent a few years at the CEGEP de Saint-Hyacinthe theatre school as an AutoCad technician and trainer, and then spent 10 years with the National Theatre School, where he specialised in safety, guiding graduates in the production of their shows at the Monument-National.
